Job summary

Central Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a major not-for-profit housing association for a Deputy Manager in a CQC-registered service in Middleton. Qualifications

• Experience in a CQC-registered supported living or extra care service.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in health and social care.
• Experience reviewing, monitoring and evaluating outcomes to support service delivery.
• Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to encourage feedback and empower others.
• Experience producing reports and statutory submissions, and other communications.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Competent IT skills, including updating care plans and producing reports.
• Resilient, adaptable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care services.
• Hold regular one-to-one sessions to reflect on achievements and wellbeing.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and records are accurate and up to date.
• Undertake six-monthly performance reviews to guide colleagues.
• Manage and plan delivery of care in line with CQC and contractual requirements.
• Support budgeting and monitor expenditure through the finance system.
