Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Service Manager to lead a team within a supported housing environment in Manchester. You will ensure high-quality, safe operational management of care and support services, while meeting contractual requirements and driving service improvements.

You will manage budgets, resource rosters, and induction plans, supported by a focus on staff development and safeguarding. This is a full-time, permanent role with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading a team in a supported housing environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise tasks to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver safe, high-quality care and support services.
• Ensure contractual requirements are met and service outcomes are achieved.
• Oversee budgeting, spend monitoring and reporting to budget holders.
• Coordinate staff rotas and recruitment of relief or agency workers.
• Deliver comprehensive induction and ongoing development plans for colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety and safeguarding policies.
