Lead Activities Coordinator

Location: Muswell Hill, N10
Hours: 35 per week
Pay: £16.00 per hour (rising to £16.30 after probation)

We are looking for an experienced Lead Activities Coordinator to design and deliver meaningful, person-centred activity programmes that promote wellbeing, independence, and social interaction in a care home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise, and lead activities and events tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
  • Promote physical, cognitive, and social stimulation through diverse programmes.
  • Build strong community links and manage volunteer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during activities.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Relevant qualification in social care, recreational therapy, or similar (e.g., Level 3 QCF Supporting Activities Provision, Occupational Therapy degree).
  • Additional certification in arts, music therapy, or community engagement.
  • Proven experience in activity coordination within a care home or health/social care environment.
  • Ability to lead group activities and workshops confidently.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
