Job summary

Personnel Today Awards is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional in Enfield to shape engaging learning experiences that build capability and improve performance. You will design and deliver programmes across multiple employee groups, while embracing AI and emerging technologies to create impactful solutions.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will work with managers to identify development needs, evaluate impact, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• You'll already have experience working within an L&D function and managing learning initiatives from design through to delivery and evaluation.
• Experience designing as well as delivering learning solutions.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to talent development, career development frameworks or succession planning initiatives.
• Experience creating digital learning content and using learning technologies.
• A genuine interest in AI and innovative approaches to learning and capability development.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use learning data and feedback to improve outcomes.
• A proactive mindset, with the confidence to introduce new ideas and challenge existing ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and continuously improve learning and development programmes across multiple employee groups.
• Lead engaging induction and onboarding experiences that set employees up for success.
• Partner with managers to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development solutions.
• Support talent development, career pathways and succession planning initiatives.
• Create blended learning solutions incorporating face-to-face, digital and self-directed learning.
• Utilise AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance learning design, content creation and learner engagement.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness through feedback, data and performance measures, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as a visible and credible L&D partner, building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
• Contribute ideas and innovation to support the continued growth and evolution of the L&D function.
