KS3 Teacher

Location: Hillingdon

Salary: 180-240+ per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Contract Type: Full-time

We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate Key Stage 3 Teacher to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum across multiple subjects. The successful candidate will plan and teach lessons aligned with the National Curriculum in: English, Mathematics, Science, PSHE and Physical Education (PE).

You will create a stimulating learning environment where students feel supported and challenged, using creative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and encourage positive engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver effective, differentiated lessons across the subjects listed above, following the National Curriculum
  • Use assessment data to monitor progress and inform future planning
  • Create an inclusive, trauma-informed classroom environment that supports behaviour for learning
  • Collaborate with subject leads, support staff, and the pastoral team to ensure holistic student support
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment, attendance, and progress in line with school policies
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities at all times
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 students
  • Strong subject knowledge across English, Maths, Science, PSHE, and Humanities
  • Experience delivering the National Curriculum and adapting it to meet diverse needs
  • Experience teaching in an alternative provision, PRU, or specialist education setting
  • Excellent classroom management, behaviour support, and differentiation skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and inclusion
