Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across KS1 and KS2.
  • Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Create and maintain a supportive classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils to support learning.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies rooted in clarity.
  • Collaborate with SEN and support staff.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching for pupils below expectations.

Skills

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
Strong understanding of inclusive practice and differentiation
Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to classroom management
Experience working with pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD
