A growing healthcare company in Northern Ireland seeks a Kitchen Assistant to play a vital role in providing meals and ensuring food safety. Responsibilities include storing catering stock, delivering meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Candidates should have the right to work in the UK, a good standard of English, and previous kitchen experience. Longfield Care Home offers a welcoming environment with specialised care for residents across two units. We support 35 General Nursing residents in the Foyle and Faughan Units, alongside 11 Residential Dementia residents in the Moore Suite. The Kitchen Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our kitchens, ensuring that residents receive high quality meals and dining experiences. Working as part of the Kitchen team, reporting to the Chef, the role is about more than preparing and serving meals; the Kitchen Assistant supports with ensuring the dietary needs of our residents are met in addition to contributing to a safe and positive working environment.
