Aramark UK is looking to hire a Kitchen Assistant to join their fantastic team at Sparsholt College, Winchester, SO21 2NF.

This is an exciting, varied full-time role, supporting the Kitchen teams as needed and assisting in the preparation of food.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

• This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including occasional weekends. Shifts ranging between 07.00 and 19.00, Overtime available.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant

• Delivering food to outlets on-site.
• Supporting the Chef, kitchen staff and FOH team where possible.
• Ensuring food safety & health and safety are adhered to.
• Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas.
• Removing waste from waste containers and disposal in the correct external bins.

You will be set up for success if you have

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role, will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
• Customer focused and a strong communicator.
• Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.
