Job summary

CYGNET is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant at Cygnet Hospital Ealing to cover early and late shifts on a 7-day rota. You will support the chef, help prepare and serve meals, and maintain hygiene and safety in a non-institutional environment.

The role requires prior catering experience, HACCP/food safety knowledge, and good communication. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred. DBS check is enhanced.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience is required.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Training is preferred.
• Polite & professional with a positive attitude at all times.

• Assist the team in providing balanced, appetising meals.
• Perform basic food preparation and kitchen duties.
• Wash dishes and store utensils properly.
• Check deliveries, stock items, and assist with ordering.
