Cygnet Surrey Limited is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant for its Woking private hospital. You will assist the Chef Manager with meal preparation and service, ensuring all areas are hygienic and safe.

The role involves rota-based shifts and weekend work, with a focus on high standards of cleanliness and customer service. The ideal candidate has catering/kitchen experience, is enthusiastic and can work well in a team, maintaining professional communication with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or kitchen/hospitality environments.
• Able to work on rota including weekends.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from the Chef Manager.
• Clean and wash cutlery, crockery and kitchenware.
• Keep floors and walkways clean at all times.
• Assist with serving meals as part of the catering team.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with policy.
