Description: The Key Account Business Development Manager within Dahua Technology UK Limited plays a pivotal role in engaging with integrators, end users, specifiers, and distribution partner sales and account management staff to improve Dahua's business performance and reputation, ensuring healthy and sustained business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
The Key Account Business Development Manager acts as an ambassador of the company and brand, delivering the following key tasks:
- Explore, identify, and develop significant project opportunities independently, recognize decision-making chains of key clients and users, proactively establish customer relationships, collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solution architects, manage the entire project process, and lead project bidding until successful closure.
- Promote Dahua products and services to specifiers, including systems integrators, installers, consultants, and end users (business partners) in the UK and Ireland.
- Follow up on new business opportunities and arrange meetings with business partners.
- Plan and prepare presentations for business partners and other interested parties.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and developments to business partners.
- Engage with selected business partners to introduce the Dahua Key Integrator Partnership Program and secure their approval to actively participate in the program.
- Provide product and commercial education and training in conjunction with business partners.
- Encourage the specification of systems that include Dahua products and solutions.
- Work closely with branded product distribution partners to meet business partner requirements.
- Assist in developing market strategies for Dahua products and solutions.
- Support the development of vertical markets/strategies for Dahua products and solutions.
- Support marketing events and attend exhibitions related to Dahua products and solutions.
- Contribute to the overall growth of the Dahua brand within the UK and Ireland market.
- Prepare reports and provide accurate, timely management information.
The Business Development Manager is also expected to:
- Maintain and develop the company's CRM system, ensuring data accuracy.
- Have sufficient experience in the CCTV industry.
- Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and collaboration with colleagues.
- Monitor activities and produce weekly and quarterly reports.
- Conduct market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
- Attend meetings with other company functions to support business and organizational development.
- Attend regular training to update knowledge and skills related to the market and products.
