Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Cinco Lounge, part of our Casual Dining Group of the Year. The role offers up to £13.30/hr plus tips, with a flexible hourly contract and staff meals on every shift. We are growing across England and Wales with opportunities to advance within the brand.

You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver quality dishes, maintain kitchen standards, and help develop junior team members while ensuring allergen and hygiene compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in real kitchen with fresh ingredients.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong food hygiene and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Help maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Take ownership of your section, keeping prep, par, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Follow allergen processes at all times and ensure the kitchen is compliant and safe.
• Support and work alongside the wider kitchen team, helping newer chefs develop their skills and confidence.
• Know the dish specs inside out and make sure every plate is proud.
