Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for the Fuego Lounge kitchen team. The role supports the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping to deliver great shifts and ensuring every dish leaves the pass to high standards.

The company offers up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. Ideal for someone progressing from Chef de Partie or Senior Chef, with a passion for real cooking, team work, and growth into a senior kitchen role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients.
• Strong kitchen skills including hot and cold prep.
• Good knowledge of allergens and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, par, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow allergen processes and keep kitchen compliant and safe.
• Support and help newer chefs develop skills and confidence.
• Know dish specs inside out and ensure each plate is praiseworthy.
