Loungers is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join Pedro Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring every dish leaving the pass is up to spec and that prep is ready for service. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a senior kitchen position and take on more responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (hot & cold prep, knife work, hygiene).
• Self-motivated and able to work at pace with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of allergens, kitchen basics, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and ensure prep is done to spec.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, par levels, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
