Job summary

Loungers, via Clio Lounge, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering great shifts and ensuring every dish leaves the pass to spec. This is a great step for someone looking to grow into a senior kitchen role within a growing hospitality brand.

You’ll be paid hourly up to £13.30 plus tips, with a flexible contract, staff meals on every shift and 50% off food and drinks from day one across all Loungers brands.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (prep, knife work, hygiene)
• Self-motivated and able to work at pace with limited supervision
• A natural team player who leads from the front and cares about the food

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and prep for each day
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards
• Take ownership of your section and manage prep, cleanliness, hygiene and safety
• Follow allergen processes and keep kitchen compliant and safe
• Support wider kitchen team and help newer chefs develop skills
• Know dish specs inside out and ensure every plate leaves to spec
