Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Carpino Lounge, a busy kitchen in our casual dining group. You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring dishes go out to spec, while maintaining hygiene, pace and teamwork. The role offers flexible hours and an hourly rate with tips from day one.

You’ll work on a kitchen team across England and Wales with opportunities to grow into a senior kitchen role, benefiting from our training pathways and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and to high standards.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Take ownership of your section, prep, par, cleanliness and hygiene.
