Knekt Hub Ltd is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef for a private boutique hotel with a 2 AA Rosette kitchen in Gloucestershire. The role focuses on refined seasonal cooking, moving towards supervisory duties, and maintaining high standards.

Live-in available, salary up to £36,000 with tips totaling £4k–£6k, and a strong progression path within a quality Rosette kitchen. Package around £40k+ annually.

Qualifications

• Experience in Rosette kitchens or similar high-end dining environments.
• Strong cooking skills with a focus on seasonal produce.
• Ability to lead a brigade and train junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Support senior chefs with day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Lead sections and services when required.
• Maintain high 2 AA Rosette standards and consistency.
• Work with fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
• Assist with menu development and new dish creation.
• Ensure top food hygiene and safety standards.
• Mentor junior kitchen staff and monitor performance.
