Job description
Overview

We are looking for a proactive and creative Junior Social Media & Communications Manager to support the delivery of division-level social media activity within HEA. This role will focus on localising global and EU content, curating UGC and creator assets, supporting campaign execution, and ensuring social content is platform-native, locally relevant, and performance-driven. You'll work closely with central teams, local stakeholders, agencies and creators to bring social activity to life - with opportunities to learn, grow and take increasing ownership over briefs, content testing and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Co-curate and localise Global, EU and UGC content assets to ensure they are culturally relevant, on-brand, and optimised for local market performance.
  • Support the creation of division-specific social content plans aligned with wider marketing priorities and campaign calendars.
  • Create compelling, social-first briefs for creators, agencies, internal teams and content partners to drive platform-native output.
  • Support creator-led content testing in paid social, working with internal teams and/or agencies to identify learnings and optimisation opportunities.
  • Coordinate product samples for creators, media and content creation needs (including logistics, tracking and stakeholder comms).
  • Nurture relationships with EO (and other key internal stakeholders), responding to initiatives, requests and priority asks in a timely and solutions-focused way.
  • Support social activity outside of One Samsung, including Channel and Retail-led social initiatives.
  • Monitor KPI performance and contribute to monthly reporting with a focus on investment-level performance, looking beyond short-term engagement metrics to understand what is driving value.
  • Stay up to date with social trends, platform updates and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of output.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Brand, Product, Partner Marketing and Product Marketing) to gather insights, align priorities and promote relevant initiatives.
  • Support the team by owning briefs end-to-end, from initial request through to delivery, approvals and post-campaign learnings.
Deliverables
  • Monthly content plan support: Contribute to maintaining the social calendar, ensuring content is localised, scheduled and aligned to key moments.
  • Social-first briefing packs: Create clear briefs that enable creators/partners to deliver strong social-native content.
  • Creator sample coordination tracker: Maintain a tracker of samples, delivery timelines and content outputs.
  • Paid creator-test learnings: Provide clear summaries of performance and recommendations for future creator-led testing.
  • Performance reporting (investment-led): Support reporting that includes performance vs spend, content effectiveness, and recommendations for optimisation.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and content formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
  • Confidence curating and adapting content to local audiences and platform best practices.
  • Great communication skills and attention to detail (written + verbal).
  • Strong organisation skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • A creative mindset with a strong eye for social content that feels current and relevant.
  • Comfort working with budgets and tracking spend responsibly (with support).
  • A collaborative and proactive approach - able to work across multiple teams and priorities.
  • A learning mindset with an interest in analytics, creator marketing and social trends.
Success
  • Establish a CS social strategy, influenced and with buy in from key stakeholders.
  • Results outperform Industry norms and best in class benchmarks.
  • Strong relationships built with retailers, agencies and internal teams/stakeholders.
