Job Description

Fanatics International are currently seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Junior Retail Events Managers to join our team and provide support during the busiest period of the 2025 events season. These are temporary, employee-status roles offered on UK Fixed Term Contracts. The contract duration will run from 12th June 2025 to 12th November 2025. Job Description:

In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in bringing our on-site retail experiences to life at some of the most prolific global sporting events, including concerts at Wembley Stadium, the Women's European Championships in Switzerland, the Women's Rugby World Cup across the UK, and NFL International Series Games—just to name a few! You'll be at the forefront, driving sales, boosting profits, and ensuring best-in-class customer service, all while leading and inspiring your teams to achieve the highest standards of fan engagement. It's a fast-paced, fun opportunity to make a real impact!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Retail Event Manager, working with Partners and Promoters to plan and execute world-class, on-site retail operations.
  2. Support the IVR Management Team in supporting contractors to deliver on budget, on time, every time.
  3. Implement inventory best practices to ensure stockrooms and shops are managed efficiently.
  4. Support Management in driving KPIs including conversion and AOV.
  5. Maximise sales through effective management of onsite teams and consumer awareness.
  6. Deliver consistent, impactful visual merchandising in-store throughout the event(s).
  7. Oversee and manage the receipt and reconciliation of stock and event infrastructure post-event.
  8. This is a hands-on role, with opportunities to oversee and participate in some physical build pre- and post-event. This role involves evening and weekend work.

The opportunity to get involved with major international events within Fanatics. The job duties list is not exhaustive; the post holder will undertake tasks reasonably expected within the role's scope. Additional hours, including weekends and late nights, may be required for event support.

Knowledge and Experience:

  1. 3+ years of experience working with major sporting or music events retail programs.
  2. Understanding and awareness of the demands of live events.
  3. First Aid and forklift training (desirable).
  4. Full UK Manual Drivers Licence.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, essential in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  6. Confident team player with leadership qualities.
  7. Strong communication skills to build and sustain relationships with external promoters, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  8. Ability to embody and contribute to company values and culture.
  9. Experience in merchandising and shop layout.
  10. Ability to travel for extended periods, including weekends.
  11. Responsible for executing multiple retail units simultaneously.
  12. Ability to follow processes and adapt as needed.
