Job Description


Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Trainee Event Manager to support the end-to-end coordination of events. This is a practical and varied role that offers hands-on experience across all stages of event delivery, from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to the success of high-quality, well-run events.

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Event Manager

  • Assist in the preparation and dismantling of event setups, ensuring all equipment and logistics are in place.
  • Support the planning process by liaising with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Maintain regular communication with venues and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Help ensure that event environments are professionally presented, safe, and efficiently managed.
  • Monitor vendor performance during events and support the resolution of any on-the-day issues.
  • Contribute to post-event evaluations by gathering feedback and assisting with debrief reports.
  • Undertake a range of administrative and operational tasks to assist the wider events team.
