Job Title: Back of House Manager – Events Venue

Location: London

My client is one of the UK’s leading conference and exhibitions centres, known for their vibrant culture and exceptional service. They are seeking a highly organised, dedicated, and experienced Back of House Manager to lead their dynamic team and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities of the Back of House Manager include:

  • Overseeing daily back of house operations to ensure efficiency and high standards
  • Managing inventory, supply chains, and vendor relationships
  • Leading and motivating a team of kitchen staff to ensure top performance
  • Handling receipt of goods and stock management, including ordering and stock takes in the warehouse and kitchen
  • Supporting the Senior Logistics Manager with rental equipment orders for events
  • Ensuring cleanliness of wash-up areas in compliance with health & safety regulations

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a BOH Manager in an events or hospitality setting
  • Experience in a high-volume, logistically challenging environment
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm, structured, resilient, and skilled in problem-solving
  • Forklift license is desirable but not essential
