Job summary

Porsche Retail Group in Reading is seeking an entry-level Assistant Retail Business Analyst to turn performance data into actionable insights across our Retail network. You’ll work with commercial, aftersales, and customer-focused data to support operational excellence.

As an entry-level role, you’ll partner with senior analysts to track KPIs, support dashboards, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting. A proactive learner with Excel, data manipulation, and communication skills will thrive.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, finance, analytics, or related field.
• Strong numerical ability and comfort with performance data.
• Excel formulas, pivot tables, and basic data manipulation.
• High accuracy in handling reports and KPIs.
• Clear communication across cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in data analysis and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support insight generation across sales, aftersales, and F&I performance.
• Track core metrics including sales units, gross profit, stock levels, and conversions.
• Help produce dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Highlight emerging patterns, risks, and opportunities in business data.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to understand performance drivers.
• Assist with inventory reviews, ageing analysis, and stock optimisation.
• Support evaluation of enquiry flows, conversions, and customer behaviour.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and target-tracking activities.
• Maintain accuracy across systems, reports, and data flows.
• Assist with troubleshooting, updates, testing, documentation, and ad-hoc analysis
