Porsche Retail Group in Reading is seeking an entry-level Assistant Retail Business Analyst to turn performance data into actionable insights across our Retail network. You’ll work with commercial, aftersales, and customer-focused data to support operational excellence.

As an entry-level role, you’ll partner with senior analysts to track KPIs, support dashboards, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting. A proactive learner with Excel, data manipulation, and communication skills will thrive.

At Porsche Retail Group, the Assistant Retail Business Analyst plays a key role in turning performance data into meaningful insight across our retail network. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone eager to begin a career in motor retail analytics, working with commercial, aftersales, and customer‑focused data to support operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Support insight generation across sales, aftersales, and F&I performance.
• Track core metrics including sales units, gross profit, stock levels, and conversions.
• Help produce dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Highlight emerging patterns, risks, and opportunities in business data.
• Work with senior analysts and managers to understand performance drivers.
• Assist with inventory reviews, ageing analysis, and stock optimisation.

Minimum Qualifications

• University degree in a business, finance, analytics, or related field.

• Attention to detail - High accuracy when handling reports, KPIs, and system updates.
• Communication skills - Able to explain findings clearly and work with cross‑functional teams.

• Interest in data analysis and commercial performance.

Desirable Qualifications

• Power BI exposure or basic coding knowledge (SQL/Python).
• Dashboard/reporting experience.
• Understanding of KPIs across sales, aftersales, and customer operations.
• Automotive retail interest or experience with premium brands.
• Basic system support skills - troubleshooting, user access, master data updates.
• Forecasting/budgeting familiarity.
• Data integrity awareness or experience with system testing.
