Job Position: Junior / Trainee Quality Inspector
  • Location: Southampton
  • Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday
The Role

Looking to kick-start your career in precision engineering? We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a Junior / Trainee Quality Inspector to join our Southampton team. You'll be working on high-quality components for the marine, power generation, and transportation industries, with full training provided.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Inspecting precision-engineered parts using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other tools
  • Checking components against engineering drawings and customer specifications
  • Supporting senior inspectors with quality checks and documentation
  • Helping to maintain ISO-compliant records and processes
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues
What We're Looking For

  • Interest in engineering and manufacturing (training provided)
