Job description
Junior Personal Assistant to the CEO (Early Career)
Forsyth Barnes - Nottingham (On-site, 5 days)
The Opportunity

We’re looking for a bright, organised and proactive Junior Personal Assistant to support our CEO, Roheel, in a fast-paced, growing business.

This is an early-career role and a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn how a CEO operates day-to-day, gain exposure to different areas of a business, and build strong organisational and coordination skills.

You don’t need previous PA experience. What matters most is attitude, organisation, confidence, and a willingness to learn.

About Us

Forsyth Barnes is one of Europe’s fastest-growing recruitment businesses, recognised by the Financial Times, with offices in Nottingham, London, New York and Dubai.

We partner with leading E-commerce, FinTech, Sports & Entertainment brands, supporting senior to C-suite hiring across high-growth organisations.

We’re ambitious, energetic and fast-moving, and we look for people who want to grow with us.

The Role

You’ll work closely with the CEO, helping to keep things organised, coordinated and moving smoothly. Your role is to support, track, and organise — making sure priorities are clear and nothing is missed.

This role offers increasing responsibility over time, with training and support as you develop.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
General CEO Support
  • Managing inboxes and calendars, booking meetings and organising schedules
  • Arranging travel, accommodation and occasional personal bookings
  • Preparing agendas, taking notes in meetings and sending follow-ups
  • Keeping action lists up to date and chasing responses where needed
Organisation & Coordination
  • Helping organise weekly priorities and updating simple trackers
  • Coordinating with different teams to gather updates and information
  • Keeping shared documents, spreadsheets and trackers accurate and current
  • Flagging clashes, delays or missing information to the CEO
Content & Personal Brand Support
  • Helping capture ideas from meetings or conversations
  • Drafting short written content with guidance
  • Assisting with scheduling posts, podcasts or event bookings
What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with different people
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, systems and basic data
  • Proactive and willing to take initiative
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills

Experience is not essential — we value attitude, potential and reliability above all else.

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
  • Any experience in an office, admin or coordination role
  • Interest in business, leadership or entrepreneurship
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
What’s In It For You
  • A genuine entry point into working closely with a CEO
  • Clear development and progression as you grow in confidence and capability
  • Exposure to different parts of a fast‑growing business
  • Support, training and mentoring
  • Bonus potential alongside base salary
  • Sociable, close‑knit team culture with regular incentives and experiences

📍 Location: Nottingham – 5 days in office (must be commutable)

💰 Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 (depending on experience) + Quarterly Bonus

⚠️ Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship.
