Job description

Sudlows Critical Infrastructure’s has an opportunity to appoint a Junior Estimator to work within our estimation team, working on the design and build of new data centres together with other projects such as plant replacement, data centre / comms room refurbishments, supporting our customers critical business needs.

The successful candidate will be offered in house training and support to assist them in their development with career progression opportunities within the critical infrastructure estimating department. Working within our estimation team, the role will offer the candidate an exposure to a wide variety of projects working within our Award-Winning business.

The junior estimator will support our estimation team and work closely with the designers with the preparation of the bid including collating various costs for sub-contractors, electrical systems, equipment and professional service fees, before being reviewed and inputted into the estimate

The junior estimator will learn about basic construction technology and methods of delivery on and off site, helping them with their development.

Personal Specification

Ideally the successful candidate should come from an engineering background with knowledge of electrical systems. Education to HNC / HND or degree level in Electrical / Building Services would be an advantage but not a necessity.
