Location: Worsley, Manchester (Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day from home)

A highly respected insurance brokerage in Greater Manchester is seeking a Junior Commercial Account Handler to join their friendly and established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in commercial insurance, working with SME and Mid-Market clients while learning from experienced Account Directors and industry professionals. The Role

As a Junior Commercial Account Handler, you will assist in managing a portfolio of SME and Mid-Market clients, supporting Account Directors in delivering excellent service. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with renewals, mid‑term adjustments (MTAs), and new business enquiries across a range of commercial insurance classes.
  • Supporting the preparation and processing of accurate documentation and client communications.
  • Helping Account Directors achieve branch renewal and new business targets through proactive client management.
  • Handling client enquiries efficiently and liaising with insurers and third parties under guidance.
About You
  • 1‑2 years experience in a Commercial Insurance role is essential, however you will be fully supported to in further developing your knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance, ideally across all classes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • CII qualifications are advantageous or a willingness to work towards them.
  • Previous experience with Acturis is essential.
