A large acute Trust in South West London is seeking GMC registered junior clinical fellows to join their team. This six-month fixed-term post focuses on Specialty and General Internal Medicine and involves managing acutely unwell patients during their first 48 hours of admission. Applicants should have completed their foundation training in the UK and possess a minimum of six months experience working in the NHS. The position includes opportunities for educational development and training support.
We are looking for GMC registered junior clinical fellows who have completed their foundation training in the UK and have a minimum of six months working in the NHS at this level to join our team. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
This is a six month fixed term post working in Specialty and General Internal Medicine, including participating on the GIM on call rota. This post commences on 4 February 2026.
Whilst this is not a recognised training post, we are committed to the educational development of our doctors. We have a number of training support measures, including the provision of educational/clinical supervisors, eportfolio, study leave and a study budget. You will also have the opportunity to attend training.
You will be part of the acute medical take focusing on managing acutely unwell patients during their first 48 hours of admission, as well providing continued care if the patient requires a longer hospital stay on one of the specialty wards.
We are a large acute Trust serving South West London and Surrey. We have two Acute Hospitals, one in Epsom and one in Carshalton; a dedicated children’s Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children; South West London Elective Orthopaedic Hospital (SWLEOC); one hospital at Sutton and a Private Patient Unit. We also have a tertiary Renal Unit serving South West London, Surrey and parts of Hampshire. Our hospitals are busy and dynamic and our specialties are led by keen and enthusiastic consultants.
For new entrants into the NHS, your pay under the Agenda for Change or Medical & Dental Pay Bands, will normally be set at the minimum of the pay band as advertised.
