Key Responsibilities – Site:
  • Supervise and guide the joinery installation team on‑site.
  • Assist installers with joinery fitting and use tools as needed.
  • Resolve installation or delivery issues efficiently.
  • Ensure installed joinery is properly protected during ongoing site works.
  • Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate installation requirements and timelines with main contractors.
  • Lead and support installers to maintain standards and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure on‑site work matches workshop output and design specifications.
  • Confirm delivery timings and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Enforce all health & safety regulations on site.
  • Manage communications related to on‑site joinery, materials, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities – Workshop:
  • Supervise daily joinery manufacturing operations.
  • Plan and schedule workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship.
  • Ensure materials are correct, available, and well‑organised.
  • Maintain tools and machinery in safe, working condition.
  • Assign tasks and support workshop staff to ensure efficient teamwork.
  • Organise joinery preparation for delivery, including packing, protection, and labelling.
  • Plan and coordinate movement of joinery between workshop and site.
  • Schedule and arrange transport to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct delivery checks to confirm all components are ready for installation.
  • Maintain workshop safety procedures and a clean working environment.
  • Advise and mentor workshop staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Respond to emails and queries related to joinery, materials, assembly, and delivery.
