Key Responsibilities – Site:
- Supervise and guide the joinery installation team on‑site.
- Assist installers with joinery fitting and use tools as needed.
- Resolve installation or delivery issues efficiently.
- Ensure installed joinery is properly protected during ongoing site works.
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate installation requirements and timelines with main contractors.
- Lead and support installers to maintain standards and meet deadlines.
- Ensure on‑site work matches workshop output and design specifications.
- Confirm delivery timings and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Enforce all health & safety regulations on site.
- Manage communications related to on‑site joinery, materials, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities – Workshop:
- Supervise daily joinery manufacturing operations.
- Plan and schedule workflow to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship.
- Ensure materials are correct, available, and well‑organised.
- Maintain tools and machinery in safe, working condition.
- Assign tasks and support workshop staff to ensure efficient teamwork.
- Organise joinery preparation for delivery, including packing, protection, and labelling.
- Plan and coordinate movement of joinery between workshop and site.
- Schedule and arrange transport to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct delivery checks to confirm all components are ready for installation.
- Maintain workshop safety procedures and a clean working environment.
- Advise and mentor workshop staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Respond to emails and queries related to joinery, materials, assembly, and delivery.
