A leading defence organization in the UK is seeking graduates in Mechanical Engineering for varied placements within their Mechanical Engineering department. You could be working across Internal Research or Design and Analysis, through to Integration, Tooling and Testing. The Mechanical Engineering department develops physical solutions from concept through development and certification to production on missiles and weapon systems. The nature of complex weapons and the environments they operate in present an extensive scope of unique and interesting mechanical engineering challenges. You could be part of this exciting team!
Salary: £31,500 plus a £3000 joining bonus. Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 3/4 days per week on-site due to workload classification. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
You could be working across a variety of mechanical engineering placements, with hands-on experience and interaction with hardware actively encouraged to deepen understanding of the product. You may experience placements in some of the following areas:

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a comparable subject to a minimum of 2:2.
