NPAworldwide, a leading specialist consultancy in the UK, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead who remains hands-on while guiding teams and shaping technical solutions.

You will work on a live Central Government project within an Agile team, designing, building and testing bespoke software that solves complex operational challenges. The role offers hybrid working, a salary up to £85,000, a learning budget and strong career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Java development experience.
• Experience designing and building AWS-based solutions.
• Full-stack development with JavaScript, React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software engineers.
• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions.
• Provide technical direction and communicate clearly with clients.
• Produce solution architectures and technical designs.
• Build full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Design and deploy cloud-based solutions, primarily using AWS.
• Create CI pipelines using GitLab.
• Manage the full software delivery lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.
• Deploy software into public and private cloud environments.
• Promote high standards of quality, security and engineering practice.
