NPAworldwide in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Technical Lead who stays hands-on while guiding a live Central Government project. You will work in an Agile team to build bespoke software addressing complex operational challenges.

The role focuses on leading engineers, designing architectures, and delivering full-stack solutions using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript, with AWS cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience is required.
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems.
• Cloud platforms and modern delivery practices are essential.
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containers and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software engineers.
• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions.
• Provide technical direction and client communication.
• Produce solution architectures and technical designs.
• Build full-stack apps using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Deploy cloud-based solutions, primarily on AWS.
• Create CI pipelines using GitLab.
• Work across the full SDLC from requirements to maintenance.
