NPAworldwide is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead to join a live Central Government project. You will stay hands-on while guiding teams, shaping architectures and delivering bespoke software in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Java development.
• Experience designing and building scalable solutions on AWS.
• Full-stack development with JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Previous leadership or technical direction of engineering teams.
• Understanding of software architecture and design across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software engineers.
• Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions.
• Provide technical direction and communicate with clients.
• Produce solution architectures and technical designs.
• Build full-stack apps using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Design and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Create CI pipelines using GitLab.
• Oversee the full SDLC from requirements to delivery and maintenance.
• Deploy software into cloud environments.
• Promote high standards of software quality, security and engineering practice.
