Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an ITIL Change & Release Manager to lead delivery of change and release services for client environments. The role requires coordinating with Incident, Problem and Configuration Management, and ensuring RFCs are logged, approved, and tracked with clear communication of impacts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT experience in IT environment
• ITIL-based change and release process knowledge essential
• Ability to present performance metrics clearly

Responsibilities

• Define release scope with customer business and internal teams
• Gather and track status of change requests and release implementations
• Register all change requests (RFCs) and ensure approvals
• Keep RFCs and releases up to date in the tool system
• Adhere to change and release policies across environments
• Analyse production impact and scheduling risks for projects
• Mediate conflicts over scheduling, approvals, and documentation
• Coordinate with Incident, Problem and Configuration Management
• Ensure current process documentation for Change and Release
• Distribute schedules and pipelines within agreed timeframes
• Communicate changes and impacts to business; provide performance reports
• Produce and distribute weekly change/release meeting minutes
• Provide robust reporting on change requests and releases
