Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an ITIL Change & Release Manager to oversee delivery of change and release services for client environments. The role requires coordinating changes across environments, ensuring proper approvals, and maintaining accurate documentation.

You will work across Nottingham or Hatfield with potential client engagement and security clearance requirements, supporting continuous improvement and service quality through standardized ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT with change/release focus or a technical degree
• Ability to build strong relationships with service management, customers and internal providers
• ITIL-related knowledge and ITSM process understanding
• Experience in analyzing, designing and optimizing process flows
• Ability to present performance measures clearly
• Familiarity with common service management tooling
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification or equivalent process-management experience
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Define the scope and contents of each release with the customer business and internal teams
• Gather information and track status of all change requests and release implementations
• Ensure all Requests for Changes are registered and properly approved
• Keep all changes and releases up to date in the management tool with progress and improvements
• Ensure adherence to change and release policies across environments
• Analyze impacts and scheduling risks for production changes across projects
• Mediate scheduling conflicts and ensure proper approvals before implementation
• Coordinate with Incident, Problem and Configuration Management for accurate data
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for Change and Release activities
• Distribute change and release schedules and insights within agreed timeframes
• Communicate technical changes and impacts to the business and provide performance data
• Produce and distribute weekly change and release meeting notes
• Provide regular reporting on change requests and release activity including exceptions
