Job summary

Sopra Steria in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Incident and Change Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of Incident, Change and Release activities within a secure technology environment. You will lead people, plan resources, monitor performance and drive continual service improvement across multiple programmes, with office attendance five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience of IT support or service management within a complex hosting or datacentre environment.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and Incident, Change and Release management.
• Experience in Agile environments and working across technical and operational teams with changing priorities.
• People management including performance management, resource planning and workload allocation.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification and MOD DV security clearance with UK nationality.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of Incident, Change and Release activities to meet KPIs and service expectations.
• Plan and allocate resources across incidents and changes; manage rotas and workloads.
• Monitor performance, provide direction, conduct appraisals and deploy resources effectively.
• Coordinate with the wider Service Operating Model across service management, technical operations and programme delivery.
• Produce service reports against KPIs and drive proactive maintenance and improvements.
• Identify and implement continual service improvement and standardise processes across services.
