A government health department is seeking an ICT Deployment Technician responsible for the installation and configuration of ICT hardware across healthcare facilities in Tasmania. The ideal candidate will have a background in ICT and be equipped to handle various logistical duties. The salary ranges from $66,049 to $94,263 per annum, with additional benefits including fitness access and professional development support.
The DTSG Hardware Deployment Team:
As an ICT Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and deployment of ICT hardware and software across healthcare facilities. Your work ensures that systems are correctly set up, secure, and ready for use by clinical and administrative staff.

Details of appointment:
2 Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call as required), working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. These positions are located in the North of Tasmania. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $66,049 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Position features:
Appointment to this role may require the occupant to rotate across various Health ICT units. From time to time, some duties may be undertaken outside of normal working hours, travel between sites, and potential intrastate travel.
