Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide 1st and 2nd line support within a busy IT team, covering end-user devices, Microsoft 365 and security. The role is based on site in Norwich with occasional travel to other sites.

Utilities include setting up devices, managing user accounts, and liaising with third-party suppliers. A UK driving licence is required. Joining the team offers a collaborative environment and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous IT Support, Service Desk or IT Technician experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and/or Entra ID.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365.
• Experience deploying and configuring end-user devices.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android device support.
• Experience using helpdesk or ticketing systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and system issues.
• Set up, configure and maintain laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist with software installations, upgrades and system updates.
• Provision equipment for new starters and support user offboarding.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers where required.
• Escalate major incidents and security concerns appropriately.
