Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an IT Support Technician in Norwich to join the internal IT team. You will provide day-to-day technical support to staff across multiple sites, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT equipment.

IT Support Technician - Norwich

Location: Norwich

A well-established professional services organisation is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join its internal IT team in Norwich.

This is a hands-on 1st and 2nd line IT Support position, supporting users across the business and providing technical assistance across multiple office locations.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment and helping ensure systems remain secure, reliable and available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to users
• Logging, managing and resolving support tickets through a helpdesk system
• Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware and network issues
• Installation, maintenance and repair of laptops, PCs, tablets, printers, phones and other IT equipment
• Supporting Active Directory, Entra ID and MFA
• Assisting with user account administration, onboarding and leaver processes
• Preparing and configuring equipment for new starters
• Supporting mobile devices across iOS and Android
• Assisting with software updates, device management and security updates
• Supporting Intune and Windows deployment processes
• Assisting with laptop imaging and device builds
• Monitoring and escalating backup-related issues
• Carrying out regular checks of meeting room and IT equipment
• Working with third-party suppliers and technology vendors where required
• Maintaining accurate hardware and software inventories
• Supporting the wider IT team with ongoing projects and improvements

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an IT helpdesk or technical support environment and be comfortable dealing directly with users at all levels.
