Proactive Appointments in Bedfordshire is seeking an IT Support Technician with 2-3+ years' experience to join our hands-on IT team. You will handle 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and Microsoft 365, with a focus on security and infrastructure.

This office-based permanent role covers asset/licence management, network troubleshooting, IT projects, documentation and ongoing improvements, offering clear progression and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or service desk.
• Experience in supporting Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of Active Directory.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving knowledge.
• Experience with Helpdesk Software.
• Networking knowledge desirable.
• Knowledge of cyber security is useful.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, access and system issues.
• You will also support: Laptop, desktop and mobile device support; Microsoft 365 admin; IT asset and licence management; Infrastructure and network troubleshooting; Cyber security and endpoint protection; Service desk management; Technical documentation; IT projects and continuous improvement; System monitoring and checks.
