Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking an IT Support Technician in the Swanley area with 1st/2nd line experience to support users remotely and on-site. The role requires a valid driving license and occasional travel to other sites.

Salary is around £25.5k total per year (£22k base plus £3.5k car allowance). The candidate will handle helpdesk inquiries, assist 1st line, and support complex IT/network/VOIP issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in 1st/2nd line IT support.
• MSP experience desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010-2019 and Office 365 administration.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming helpdesk enquiries and assisting the 1st Line Support team.
• Provide in-house support for IT/ Network/ VOIP issues.

IT Support Technician – Swanley area (occasional travel to other sites required) – must have a valid driving licence

I am working with client near Swanley in Kent / Greater London who are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Technician / Technical Support for their busy in-house help desk. To support all users via remote technologies.

This Support Desk Technician salary ranges is paying £25.5k (22k basic / 3.5k car allowance).

As a Support Desk Technician you will be responsible for:

• Answering incoming helpdesk enquiries, and providing assistance to the 1st Line Support team to resolve customer issues
• Offering in-house support to more complex IT / Network / VOIP issues
• Server Configuration and monitoring

You will also be required to be hands on with all server and desktop products, as well as a variety of networking and other components I.E Routers, Printers and bespoke applications.

2nd Line IT Support Requirements:

For this position you will have previous experience working with the following:

• Previous experience working at 2nd Line level is required
• Experience working within an MSP environment would be preferably, but not essential
• Microsoft Office 2010 through to 2019 & Office 365 Administration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008
• Knowledge of Exchange

An understanding of networking protocols and devices
