Job summary

Arvato is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join the Corby site team, supporting colleagues across the business and maintaining IT infrastructure. The role focuses on delivering first‑class IT support, deploying devices, and ensuring secure, well‑documented systems.

You will troubleshoot issues, manage users and devices via AD/Group Policy, and collaborate with vendors to streamline operations. The position offers a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment with ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support or Systems Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender and Modern Workplace technologies.
• Good networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support via ITSM system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and user account issues.
• Build/deploy laptops/desktops using Modern Workplace technologies.
• Install, configure and maintain IT hardware, software and communications equipment.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions and Group Policy.
• Support Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Perform server maintenance, backups and ensure system security.
• Maintain IT documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and end-user experience.
