Job summary

DFDS is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide first and second line IT support for users across the Company’s computer and telephony systems, predominantly at Jersey route locations and vessels. The role includes supporting in-office and in-port operations, liaising with external suppliers, and contributing to technical documentation and IT projects.

Qualifications

• Two years of IT support experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to create and maintain support documentation.
• Capable of working independently with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line IT support via email, phone and other channels.
• Support PC hardware, software and peripherals; escalate when needed.
• Maintain and update existing PCs and peripherals; assist deployments.
• Install and configure software to standards; redeploy equipment as required.
• Contribute to Service Desk tools and documentation updates.
