Job summary

Focus Group is seeking an IT Onsite Technical Support Engineer to join their Service Delivery team in Shoreham-by-Sea. The role involves first and second line support for a key customer, with a hybrid onsite arrangement focused on Windows, Office 365, and network issues.

You will manage the ticket queue, diagnose faults, provide desk-side and remote support, perform daily checks, deploy equipment and contribute to project delivery. Strong AD/Exchange knowledge and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support experience required.
• Experience with Windows desktops, Outlook, printers and basic PC issues.
• Ability to diagnose faults over the phone and provide timely updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage the support ticket queue for your customer.
• Own and resolve assigned tickets and keep systems updated.
• Diagnose faults and communicate progress to the customer.
• Provide desk-side, phone and remote support.
• Perform daily checks including backup and security checks.
• Deploy new equipment at the customer site.
• Support the delivery of customer projects.
• Follow quality systems and promote best practice.
• Take ownership of service success.
