Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in our Canary Wharf office)

What we are looking for?

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide day‑to‑day corporate IT support for our UK team and remote employees. This role will be responsible for managing Office 365 services, laptops and desktops, network connectivity, and end‑user issues, while ensuring that all systems are secure, compliant, and reliable.

As a UK‑based engineer, you will be the first line of support for our UK office and remote workforce, working closely with our London and Bangalore IT teams to deliver consistent, global IT services. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping our people productive, connected, and supported. You will be working in a hybrid capacity, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the London office depending on business needs and team requirements. You will also be part of our on‑call rota, with exact details finalised at offer stage.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Resolve issues with Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Support video conferencing, collaboration tools, and remote working setups.
System And Device Management
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Office 365/Entra /Exchange Online.
  • Ensure devices are updated with patches, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
  • Deploy and configure hardware and software for new employees.
Networking And Infrastructure
  • Provide first-line support for internet connectivity, Wi‑Fi, and VPN access.
  • Liaise with UK vendors and service providers for escalated infrastructure issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot local network and hardware performance.
Security And Compliance
  • Enforce IT security policies, including multi‑factor authentication, password policies, and data encryption.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, NHS Digital, and healthcare IT security standards.
  • Help train employees on IT best practices and security awareness.
Collaboration and Documentation
  • Work closely with the London & Bangalore IT teams to deliver consistent support across geographies.
  • Maintain IT documentation, troubleshooting guides, and asset inventories.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes for UK employees.
To thrive in this role you’ll need:
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or service desk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration and support.
  • Hands‑on experience with Windows and macOS laptops/desktops.
  • Experience using the Atlassian software suite (Jira Service Management, Confluence, Rovo, Trello, etc) in a professional environment.
  • Solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL principles, as well as their relationship with SLA’s and following best practices within an enterprise setting.
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (Entra AD, Intune, etc).
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to support both local and remote users.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment.
  • Good understanding of networking principles and applications (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, LAN/WAN, etc).
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools and compliance frameworks.
  • IT certifications (CompTIA, MS‑102, MD‑102, ITIL).
