Job summary
ORCA Service Technologies in Maidenhead is seeking an IT Support Apprentice to join a growing software support team. You will learn on the job, handle IT support tickets, and work closely with developers on exciting projects.
You’ll start with basic IT tasks, gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, hardware, and software development concepts, and receive full training and a clear progression path within a small, international SME.
Qualifications
- Basic IT knowledge and a passion for IT.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- IT hardware knowledge desirable.
- Software development exposure is a plus.
- Strong communication skills across methods.
Responsibilities
- Handle IT support activities (categorising, prioritising, solving tickets).
- Assist developers on projects and development activities.
- Coordinate with customers to scope project requests.
- Learn OST's systems to support customers effectively.
- Take ownership of development-related tasks and customer contact.
