Cowley Computer Solutions in Havant is offering an exciting IT Service Desk Technician Apprentice role. The 22‑month Level 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship includes on‑the‑job training and 25 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham, supported by a Learning & Development Coach.

You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, learning to diagnose issues, assist with setup, and work with Microsoft 365, Windows, and cloud services while developing communications and problem‑solving

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English at grade C/4 or higher.
• Genuine passion for technology and IT.
• Enjoys learning new skills and solving problems.
• Curious, motivated and eager to develop.
• Confident and professional communication.
• Team player with good collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of computers and technology via school/college/personal projects.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email and remote tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows and cloud services.
• Assist with setting up new computers, laptops and devices.
• Visit customer sites with experienced engineers.
• Work with modern IT support tools used by professionals.
• Develop customer service and problem-solving skills.
