Job summary

M&G plc in London or Stirling seeks a Category Manager for IT Outsourcing to own the category strategy, lead high-value negotiations and influence senior stakeholders. You will drive the savings plan and vendor strategy across major suppliers.

You will build total cost of ownership models, run tender events, and partner with the India procurement team to deliver value while ensuring governance and risk controls are maintained.

Qualifications

• Substantial category management or strategic sourcing experience in a large organisation.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and ability to influence decisions without formal authority.
• Strong commercial and financial judgement with TCO and should-cost expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own IT Outsourcing category strategy and savings plan.
• Lead high-value sourcing events, set negotiation strategy and BATNA.
• Report savings and manage vendor relationships with governance in mind.
• Collaborate with India procurement to ensure consistent execution.
