M&G is seeking a Category Manager to own the Investment Technology and Data category, serving as a strategic procurement adviser to senior stakeholders. The role focuses on category strategy, cost reduction, and vendor negotiations within a UK-based procurement function.

The position drives savings opportunities, manages complex supplier relationships, and collaborates with the India team to ensure consistent commercial execution. A London or Stirling presence is expected.

Formación

• Substantial category management or strategic sourcing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build, own and execute the category strategy for Investment Technology and Data.
• Manage living category plans covering market analysis, supply base segmentation, demand profiling, route to market and savings opportunities.
• Lead high-value sourcing events and negotiations, including setting the negotiation strategy, BATNA and walk-away position.
• Design sourcing events and evaluation criteria, and decide how much process each event needs based on its value, risk and complexity.
• Act as a trusted commercial adviser to senior business owners across the Investment Technology and Data spend area.
