M&G is seeking a Category Manager for the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) category. You will own the category strategy, drive savings, and guide senior stakeholders with market insight and negotiation expertise.

You will lead high-value sourcing events, shape commercial models, and build supplier relationships while transforming procurement into an internal strategic consultancy within the UK. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities to influence how the business

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic procurement and category management.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategy and commercial leadership for BPO, including market analysis and savings opportunities.
• Design sourcing events, set evaluation criteria, and manage supplier relationships under commercial pressure.
• Build and own the savings plan and ensure it flows to budgets and run rates.
• Act as trusted adviser to senior business owners and influence procurement decisions.
